With over a decade of experience in the Inland Empire, Dr. Garcia is passionate about improving mental health access and care for all. Dr. Garcia has helped countless individuals struggling with mental health challenges achieve greater peace of mind and overall well-being. At LUMUS, we focus on treating depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD/ trauma, and many other common mental health disorders. Dr. Garcia is a board-certified Psychiatrist who received his undergraduate degree in Biology with honors distinction, published research in biomedical neurosciences, and a Doctor of Medicine degree all at the University of California, Riverside. Dr. Garcia continued his commitment to serving the Inland Empire by pursuing his medical residency training in Psychiatry along with additional (fellowship) training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UC Riverside while receiving independent specialized training in ketamine therapy.

Meet Angelica Parocua, our compassionate and highly skilled Physician Assistant specialized in psychiatric mental health. At our ketamine psychiatry clinic, Angelica provides exceptional care to patients struggling with various mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and much more. Her expertise allows her to create personalized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs and goals.

Angelica first became interested in mental health during her undergraduate training at UCLA where she received her B.S. in Psychobiology. She then went on to USC’s Keck School of Medicine where she earned her Master of Physician Assistant Practice degree. She is a certified Physician Assistant who has experience in psychiatry and addiction medicine. She is dedicated to providing quality patient care.

Dr. Rashid Awan is our experienced infusion director at LUMUS ketamine clinic. With a dedication to helping patients overcome mental health challenges through the use of cutting-edge ketamine therapy, Dr. Awan oversees the ketamine infusion protocols to ensure patient safety and effectiveness while fostering an environment of empathy and support. Dr. Awan received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of California, Riverside. Dr. Awan then continued his medical training with dual residency training in Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology.

His expertise, attention to detail, and dedication to patient safety make him an invaluable expert, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care possible at our clinic.
